Description
I was asked to do this painting for the Gueydan, Louisiana Art and Cultural Museum several years ago.This was to celebrate 50 years of Girl Scouting in that area of Southwest Louisiana. I picked Girl Scout badges as my subject. I requested every book and history of the girl scouts they could supply me. I read them all and it was extremely interesting.I chose 48 different badges to incorporate into this painting. Look closely. How many can you find? There is also the sash.
